FSCJ April 5, 2025, Electrathon & Car Show

On Saturday, April 5th Florida State College/Jacksonville (FSCJ) held their Electrathon Event and car show.

Robert Wechsler, his team and Administration hosted the event.

The Electrathon teams arrived and had their cars inspected by Mike Ralph.

Teams met with race officials for the drivers meeting.

The course for this race was new to our drivers which gave them a challenge with the gradual elevation changes.

We had 8 cars line up for the first race of the day.

Dr. Doug Brauer Dean of Engineering & Industry dropped the green flag, and teams found their path on the course.

Teams had a few issues; most of the teams got them resolved and back on the track. FSCJ 32 kept the pressure on Electrathon Parts 654 the entire race.

Five Flags Speedway March 29, 2025

Congratulations on a successful race day at the 2025 Emerald Coast Electrathon Classic 120!

A heartfelt THANK YOU from our FPL team for your participant, sportsmanship, flexibility, and enthusiasm this weekend.  Your teams skillfully navigated uncertain weather, changing schedules, gloomy skies, and brief sprinkles to successfully compete.

You all embraced and embodied our spirit of coopetition, I witnessed at one point three separate team leads simultaneously assisting a team that wasn’t theirs! Regardless of if you participate as part of a high school, college, or adult team, you ALL serve as role models and leaders in innovation.

We also recognize that for each of you, this race was long travel times, late nights, and months of preparation. Each team accomplished the most important thing of all, making it to the track with an enthusiastic team and running vehicles.

Photographs of our winning teams can be viewed HERE. All other professional photographs from the event will be available in about a week, and I will be sure to share them along.

Race results and full race videos can be viewed HERE.
